IT Engineer
Shaka has over 15 years experience as an I.T. support analyst and has supported between 200 – 4,000 users in industry leading companies on various platforms.This is inclusive of troubleshooting on Windows 9x/NT/2000/XP and Office 95/97/2000/2003/2007 and Citrix/VM Ware environments by providing client service support at a 1st, 2nd line support role on a day to day basis. He has provided documented and written procedures for company IT systems. His personal achievements have also involved training 20 managers and users.
Shaka’s role demands that he must be analytical when approached with issues that must be resolved within SLA and to reach the correct course of action which must be taken to ensure a correct resolution is reached, and a determination to resolve problems as they arise. Shaka has found that his greatest advantage within his past and current roles has been adapting to new technologies as they arrive. This must be met with initiative, as this will relate to keeping the consistency of the hardware and software standards for the various platforms he supports which brings a sense of pride and joy in his role.
His hobbies and interests are team circuit training, reading and traveling to various parts of the world when time permits.
